The first thing to know is that you don’t get your pants size. Remember that the bib part of the overall will go over the fullest part of your stomach. The general rule of thumb is that you go 1-2 sizes above what you normally wear in a pant.
For example, if you wear a 36×30 in a pant, then you would get a 38×30 or 40×30 overall. The best way would be to take a tape measure and measure around the fullest part of your stomach. Keep in mind they will shrink some during washing and drying the first few times.
2. What Are The Pockets On Liberty Overalls For?
Liberty Overalls has an Iconic 5-piece bib pocket that has a durable zip closure and snapping flap pocket entry.
These pockets come in handy when you need to store items their instead of your regular front and back pockets.
For example, I would suggest you store all your valuables such as your wallet or cell phone their! It is quite easy to lose those items while you working and squatting throughout the day.
Also, many people might put a small snack that they can get to very quickly when they need a mid-day snack!
3. What Is The Button Hole At The Top Of Liberty Overalls For?
This hole is to attach a watch pocket to your bib.
You attach a chain to your watch pocket and attach the end of the chain to the hole.
4. Are Liberty Overalls Made In China?
The final answer is yes and no. Liberty Overalls are made in both China and Vietnam.
Dickies actually manufactures Liberty Overalls and have factories in both China and Vietnam.
5. Will Liberty Overalls Shrink?
The short answer is Yes! How much depends on a few things.
Remember Liberty Overalls are made of 100% cotton. The rigid denim bib overalls will shrink more than the stonewashed denim overalls because the stonewashed have already been washed.
For the least amount of shrinkage, I would suggest washing them in cold water and letting them hang outside to dry.
So what I am saying is the more heat you use in washing and drying the more shrinkage you will have.

6. How Long Has Liberty Overalls Been Around?
Liberty Overalls began operation in 1912. They were made in Birmingham, Alabama.
Then in the 1990s Liberty was bought by the Walls company out of Dallas Texas.
In 2013 Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co, better known as Dickies, bought the Walls company.
7. Does Liberty Still Make Overalls For Kids?
Yes, Liberty continues to produce bib overalls for kids.
The smallest size they make is 6 Months. The largest size is a 20 Regular.
8. Does Liberty Still Make Camo Overalls?
No, Liberty no longer makes the camo bib overalls.
Once Dickies purchased Walls they discontinued the Liberty Camo Bib Overalls.
9. Does Liberty Still Make Hee Haw Overalls?
No, they are no longer available from Liberty.
They stop producing the Hee Haw Bib Overalls once the TV show Hee Haw went off the air.
Occasionally You can still find some vintage Hee Haw Bib Overalls on eBay. But be ready to pay a hefty price for these Hee Haw Overalls.
